I'd say a damper is worth it first. On my old gixxer, I had some headshake when I went full throttle once and I got one right after. A Scotts cleared that problem right up. On the way home after I bought the 929, I noticed a similar headshake at full throttle in 2nd on the highway and got me a little concerned. Now I'll hammer it or lift the occasional wheelie when I get a chance with no worries.
