Special tools for carb sync?
I have a 97 F3. Is there any other "special" tools I will need to do a carb sync myself besides the vacuum gauge Carb-tune tool? Dealer is charging at least $84.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
a set of vac gagues, and a phillips head screw driver dont mess with it unless you know what your doin some times its one of those if it aint broke dont fix it situations
Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the $4 Carb Sync tool.....has anyone actually used ittuning aCBR? How does that tool get used with a 4 carb system, especially when the No 3 carb is the reference? Thanks again!
I gona do the self made carb sync soon. All you do is plug on end of it in the reference carb and plug the other in another, sync the carb and move to the next one. All you need to do is keep one end on the reference and the other end is your test subject.
Nauree...if only it was that simple! when you adjust one carb/tb to sync the reference one, all of them will move somewhat. while it can be done, it's not just a simple matter of moving on to the next, etc...you'll need to go back and check the others to make sure they're still in sync....that's all for now...
BYE BYE BYE....muhahahah get it? in sync...en sync...ah...nevermind.
get this though...once you understand the concept of how a carb sync tool works...it's very easy to make one for much under 10 bucks!
