First off, thanks for all the replies, I really do appreciate all the help everyone gives. I ordered Helicoil part# HEL5523-10. It came with the tap, the helicoil install tool and quite a few helicoils.

I thought I was going to do this withOUT having to drop the engine but it is just absolutely impossible to get any tools down in the port because there is a part of the frame that sits right over where all the spark plug ports are. What I thought was going to be pretty straightforward repair is now turning into way more than I planned.

Did I get the wrong kit??? How else could I possibly do this job without dropping the engine? I'm pretty bummed.
