Default Should I lower my seat?

Help please

bought a 1999 CBR600F

sadly found myself to be too short.

got new boots but still on max tiptoe when feet down

now thinking of getting seat lowered

anyone done this?

thoughts?

adjust your rear shock first.

As @rockpool said, lower your shock first.
also, if you are new to riding, your feet don’t have to be as flat as you think.
if you lol at motocross riders, most of the time they can only touch on one side.

Personally I would lower seat by shaving off foam and narrowing front. Doesn't mess up suspension geometry like lowering shock does. Less risk of catching pegs in corner too.
