Default salvage title

if a bike has a salvage title, would i just have to switch out the frame for another one, and would it be considered a clean and clear bike, rather then having a salvage title bike

Pretty much, as long as the new frame and title are clean.
I believe you can also fix it and get a structural test and have it classified as Rebuilt.

Unless you are in Canada in which a salvage bike = a track bike, as once it has gone salvage it can't be put on the street again.

depends of the insurances company if they declared the bike cannot be registered esp. those newer bike salvages.

If you get another frame than that title is all the matters, the salvaged bike no longer exists for practical purposes.

Many states will allow you to apply for a rebuilt title from a salvage one.

In Arizona, once you put it back together take it to an authorized inspector, pass a class III inspection and you can have the title changed to restored.costs $50.00.
