help please i have a 1998 smokin joes cbr and it only starts after it is hot or been running i changed the plugs and battery but it did nothing it seems to run rich when it is running tho help please thanks

 

What do your spark plugs look like at the ends - black, white, color? When it is not starting, does it crank with a normal sound, does it sound too free, is it spinning too slow? Does it pop through the intake or exaust? Have you been able to drive it around and if so, how does it feel, enough power, any surging? Does it just click and not spin when it's not starting? Sorry for all the questions, not enough information in your tread. Carbs or fuel injection?

 

Also where you at? you trying to run the bike when its 30 degrees outside? It is winter some places.
