I remember another forum member having the same problem with their instrument mode setting buttons. Do a search for "buttons" or "button" and you should be able to find the posts.

I've got the same problem. Couldn't figure out how to get them replaced, so i just took 2 long objects (toothpicks, etc) and set everything how i needed it. Can't use the trip meter when i want, but at least i fixed the time. Sorry i don't have a solution though.

You always have the option of buying a used instrument display off eBay.

I had the same problem. I ended up changing the led's in my speedo so I just fixed it while I had the gauges apart. You have to remove the front fairing, remove the gauge cluster, and then take the cover off the gauges. I used a little bit of glue to bond the plastic pieces to the buttons on the circuit board. But if you do this be careful, it would be really easy to permanently glue the buttons so they're always being "pressed". Hope this helps.
