Default rear tire

I am replacing the rear tire on my cbr 600rr for the first time. Any suggestions on what to buy or what to look for?
Thanks

Default RE: rear tire

depends on the type of riding you do...
you should actually replace both tires with the same brand/type but just one is fine if you're not pushing hard in the canyons or anything hardcore like that.

if you do a lot of around town and brisk (not hard) canyons, something like diablo stradas (pirelli) will work.

if you do both city and lots of canyons but a bit more than just brisk then i'd opt for diablos (just plain diablos), pilot powers, dunlop qualifiers or metzler m1 or m3s...and i would suggest changing the set for this type of riding.
