Default Rattle at medium rpms?

Rattle from what seems like the engine, top cover area.

Heard rattle, idle is fine, bring up the rpms 3k, 4k, nothing, start to get higher get a light rattling sound. Like something rattling against a metal cover. Thought it was something rattle on the engine vibe, took fairing off, revved again rattle seemed to be coming from the motor from what I can tell.

It is only present if you rev it, like blip the throttle. It also shows up while riding under quick accelleration, or whenever rpms seem to be 5k+

Ideas on possible cause?

I did some searching and I have self diagnosed cam chain rattle. This sound like it? Is it easy to replace/adjust this at home on a 2001 F4i?

Thanks!!
