Default Rattle at 8200 - 9000 rpms

Alright, I have a new rattle, that is now coming on around 8200 rpms. I held the windshield, and it still rattled. Held the tank, and it still rattled. So far I've added some padding to the 3rd eye, to make sure it's not shaking, and it isn't even remotely moving, so I know that's not it. I'm thinking it might be a cam chain tensioner, as I had issues with that with my previous F4i. How would I know for sure it's the cam chain tensioner? I've noticed after riding it awhile it seems to have a rough sounding metal grinding noise when riding around town (As if the chain was rubbing).

Oh, and how much would it cost for a CCT job to be done by a mechanic? Should I put in a manual CCT?

Thanks

Wow, finally figured it out. Thought I had fixed it in the past. It was the dreaded 3rd eye. I used double sided tape on the windshield and 3M mounting tape in between the third eye and windscreen. Problem fixed.
