raising the frame from the motor
I got a 2007 cbr 1000 that needed repair on the stator cover side. I have replaced the cover and now just have one last thing. Above the stator cover is a raditor hose that also has a smaller hose coming from it. I have to replace this peace. I can get to the bottom bolt, but the top on is behind the frame. what all has to be done to get to it. Looks as if I raise the frame just a 1/4 of an inch I could get to it. Can you go at it with a combination wrench. They are nice and flat and can fit in really tight areas. It should be able to squeeze into that area between the frame. The other problem you might run into is that there might not be enough room to back out the bolt.
are you talking about that little peice that the rad hose attaches to thats bolted to the motor with two bolts? if so your gonna have a hell of a time with it...a buddy of mine had to loosen his rear motor mount to make that repair
