Default Radiator Flush

ok so i was outside messing with my bike earlier and i decided to check up on everything and my radiator looks really nasty inside, my question is, should i buy radiator flush from autozone or does it take a special kind? or can i just unhook my bottom radiator hose and put a waterhose in the intake and flush it that way, i know the proper way is run the motor, drain, etc. but i cant get the bike to start right now so what do you guys think? Also i want to add that the last time i actually rode it rode it the bike got too hot and shut off, however ive started it up and ran it since then, no cracked headgasket, etc etc.

You dont needa flush kit. Just pull a hose as you stated and run the hose to it. Up here where it gets cold we hand flush heater cores in cars all the time. The main thing is when your done it will be full of straight water, so you may have to run it, drain it, a few times to get a good coolant mix back in there. Or if you have a compressor you can (gently) blow it all out with an air hose (no more than 15 psi).

^ Who said anything about using something for/from a car? As far as antifreeze you can use almost any type/brand designed for an aluminum engine safely. Some of the older antifreezes have silicates in them which will cause premature wear on the water pump, but most new blends dont, so just read the bottle.
