Default Question about having a jacket altered

I have the alpinestars stunt mesh jacket and was wondering if it could be altered. I had to go with a larger size jacket because i have a bit of a fat tire. The lenght of the jacket and arms are a bit long, and the chest is a bit big. Thanks in advance for any help.

I would bet any tailoring shop could alter it for you. However, I imagine the cost would be a concern. It would probably cost as much as the jacket did. You might be better off trying to find a jacket that fits without altering and sell the one you have now that doesnt fit. If you have exhausted all resources, and have no choice but to alter a jacket to fit, (as one size does not fit all), then thats what you have to do.

Yeah, it *can* be altered. Some yrs ago, I found a nice leather jacket at a great price that I really liked but it was long. I took it to a local alterations place & told them what I'd liked done. The cost for the alterations was $40. Since I'd gotten the jacket at a great price, the $40 was ok w/ me.

Good luck.
