I want to black out my bike (as close to 100% as possible) and I'm trying to decide how to do the motor on my F4. I am contemplating powder coating it but wanted to know if anyone had any other ideas. What does honda do on their black motors? My experience is paint does not stick to aluminum very well (long term).

Hi, you could try getting a can of acid etch onto the ali prior to painting, I used this and VHT paint on my old srad 750 and it worked a treat
