Default to powdercoat or........to not

So I got my Jardine Highmount exhaust in today, and idk what to do........It is the only chrom piece on my bike....I have the 2002 f4i, black frame, red and black paint scheme, and i was seriously considering powder or ceramic coating my new exhaust a matte black to match the frame......

What are your thoughts???.....is the chrom going to stick out too much since its the only chrom on the bike, or will it look ok???.....lmk your thoughts......

Put it on the bike and live with it for a while. If you don't like it, coat it, if you do, then leave it. Maybe you should send it back and get a carbon slip-on, this way it'll match already? Either way, it'll look fine.

well i can chime in, i have a red/black '01 and i got a CF shorty exhaust...BUT...i then had the canister tip and the midpipe ceramic coated black....(actually gloss black, not many places do it)...and i can say, looks AWESOME....really keeps the bike slick looking...i am however going for a completely black look even swapping out screws for annodized black ones, i painted my rear master cylinder, etc....so having the silver midpipe and whatnot just wouldn't have worked...i should have some pics up in my diary thread sometime next week if my buddy brings his camera saturday....there are pics up there now showing the exhaust coated and one or two crappy pics with it on the bike...

if u take the wheels off and hand them to someone it's generaly 25bucks per wheel at most shops.. i got my entire bike powder coated blue at the most expensive place I could find "no orange peal for me" and it was under 500 for the entire bike frame included.

heres a good pic of the frame and rims
