i currently have a banana seat on my 99 cbr600f4 and was wondering if any of the newer tails are interchangable with mine if so what year and what model. looking towards a single seat. Will it be bolt on swap or will i have to customize.

 

I think you are looking for a 'split seat conversion'. Do a search here, there should be plenty of threads. I haven't done it but besides the fairing and seats, I think you need the subframe for it too. Not sure if you need to modify anything after that.
