Your new LEDs do not have a provision for running lights.(constant on) Hook up your ground, (on my 1KRR its the green wire) and hook up the led to the flasher wire from the bike. (I think its the orange/blue without the stripe.) You can make them work as running lights also, by hooking up both orange and both blue to the positive on the led`s but this will also cause the rear signals to function as running lights too, (and it makes the signal indicators on the instrument cluster stay lit) unless the flasher is on. I have them both hooked up on my 1K because I dig the way it looks......

I hope that helped.... I`m too drunk right now to make further explaination, but it makes perfect sense to me.... (Thats a comfort, I know )

ahh... drinking and typing, bad combination. Good tips, but can you guys post up some pics and let us know how bright they are? CJ and I are looking about buying them.

I meant to add: roxy_33, you aren't concerned about having two positive leads going to the same source?

Thank you for your help it was the solid green and the solid blue. But someone also told me I can use them as running lights and turn signals. Any clue on how to do this???

Not at all.... on my bike the running light positive stays on unless the blinker is activated, then the running light lead turns off, and the flasher lights up. Both positive wires are never hot at the same time..... I`ll see if I can get pics loaded.

but when you hook in both positive wires, the rear signals will also function like running lights.

And in the dark...... (the signals are really brighter than this, but my cam has automatic filters that won`t turn off....)

Doesn't matter if both positives are hooked up because the bike only puts out 12V -- the worst thing that could happen is that the running light would stay on and no blinky blinky.
