whats up guys im having a problem with my 04 cbr 1000 i just recently bought the bike from a friend who dumped the bike backwards. there was mostly cosmetic damage, but for some reason the fuelpump isnt turning on. when i turn the bike on it powers up but cant hear the fuel pump. i bought a new one and its still not coming on...does anybody know a couple of things i could try??? i checked some fuses didnt seem to be the problem...any advice would help...thanks alot

 

is the headlight still hooked up to the bike?

chances are pretty good you either do not have the bank angle sensor hooked up, or it is bad. The BAS if not hooked up or bad, will not allow the fuel pump to run.

The BAS sits on the headlight, between the lenses on the backside. It has 3 wires leading to it. If it is hooked up, and the bike still does not run, you can jump the two outer wires together to bypass it. If it runs bypassed, then I would suggest getting a new one.
