Nope, stator has nothing to do with the spark. the bike runs off the battery, the stator just recharges the battery. Your rectifier has nothing to do with either.

Things to check. Kill switch, kickstand switch, (BAS) bank angle sensor and fuse.

It should be mounted on the headlight. Its located between the fairng stay and the headlight. Some were mounted in under the seat, but I cant remember which models those are, but Im about 95 percent sure the F4 is located on the headlight.

One thing to consider. the fuel pump wont kick on if the bank angle sensor is bad. So it that is working, then its not the bas.

Also, you can bypass the bas by jumping the two outer wires on the harness plug to see if runs.

Is there any other information that will help with diagnosis?
did it just stop running?
was there a crash or anything?

Be sure the upper harness is hooked up. the one that plugs into the headlight and the gauge cluster. It will not run without it hooked up.

make sure the crank pulse sensor is plugged in. thats what reads the timing and tells it to fire.
