Default new clutch

hello all....i've been having clutch difficulties (i believe)....for example in 4th, 5th, & 6th gear...i will be around 7,000RPM's and if i try to accelerate hard (crack the throttle) the RPM's just "fly" up...i can get all the way up to 10-12,000RPM's but with a lot of highway and a lot of patience...

i'm thinking its my clutch plates...does this sound correct.

i've been looking for clutch kits...any suggestions between the difference of a Barnett complete kit (steel plates, friction plates & springs) in Carbon Fiber for $106.95 or do i go with EBC SRC Series (kevlar paper lined) for $74.50

any and all suggestions most appreciated...

Do you have freeplay in the clutch handle? If you do, it certainly seems like the clutch is slipping and time for a new one.

I gotta say clutch also, but it is strange it doesn't happen in the lower gears too.

That deffinitely sounds like a clutch problem. I have always liked barnett clutches personally. They're a bit stiffer than stock but if that doesn't bother you then I'd go for it. I don't know to much about the EBC setup though so I can't really compare the two.
