Default need help with f3 hose

Ok so I bought a rolling f3 that was used as a parts bike for 600 and found a engine for it for 100. I installed it and had some head problems but got those worked. Than I bought the few missing parts i needed and now its all togeather and running. But I cant figure out where one hose goes. Right now its hooked up right behind the thermostat housing and has some weird metal thing mounted abought half way down it?? Anyone know where this goes???
