I was doing a little work on my 01 929 yesterday and found a rogue hose laying under the tank. I looked at my shop manual but couldn't find specific information about this hose. One end is hooked to the bottom of the gas tank, some kind of air vent. From the gas tank it splits into two at a T-joint, one goes down through the bottom of the lower fairing and the other wraps around the right side fairing support and is hanging loose under the gas tank area. Is this hose supposed to attach to anything? Doesn't make sense to hang there like that, I'm thinking I might have pulled it off of something when moving the gas tank.
