Well, really I got screwed. A drywall screw, that is. Right down the midle on my rear tire. I know this has been discussed before, and they say to replace the tire, but I've got a little twist. Should I replace my front tire too?

Here's my thinking - I've got 2800 mi on my OEM Bridgestone Battlax tires (BT015 R&F, 190/50ZR17 & 120/70ZR17), but they're really not looking too bad on the tread situation yet (see pic). I was thinking about switching to Pilot Powers once I burned these up, but it's looking like now's the time to do it. I suppose I'll order them online and have my local shop mount and balance them. Any thoughts? Just get a new rear tire or do 'em both?

Personally, I run my tires about one season. (Three track days and street riding) I dump em both at the same time even though the front looks fine, I just replace it. If I didnt do track days, I'd probably not change the front til it needed it, but $100 seems like cheap insurance to me to not fall down.
