Default my choke wont stay on

right i just turned 17 and got myself the cbr 125
ever since ive got this bike i pull on the choke and it simply drops back down after a few seconds
any1 got any tips as this can make it highly annoying trying to warm up my bike in the morning

Are you putting the choke all the way up and turning off the reserve?

Why would the reserve cause a problem?
I've got a 900RR that does the same exact thing. I have to sit and hold the choke for a moment and then let it drop to half choke until it warms.

Remove the rubber dust cover that is ontop of the choke where it mounts to the mount. Under that there should be a ridged ring that you can tighten or loosen to increase or decrease cable tension for the choke. This will alow the choke to stay on as long as you need it.
