Hi i have a 96 cbr f3 and it was running great the other day and i took the carbs off and cleaned them jets and all but i didnt mess with airfuel mixture screws, i also changed fuel filter and put a k and n air filter on it and now, it will only run with choke on and if you turn the choke off it will stall,also if you try to rev it with the choke on it stalls. any help would be great thanks

 

The bike should not run worse AFTER you clean the carbs. This problem usually indicates a dirty jet problem. Unless , you didn't put something back correctly. I would try pulling them off and going through the process again making sure everything is correctly reinstalled. Did it do this right after you cleaned them and reinstalled them? Or did u ride it for a while then it started acting up?

 

You may have dislodged crap into the pilot circuit. Is the k&n a very high flow filter? maybe the bike is leaning out?
