Default to much oil & now wont start

Last week I was changing my oil and my damn kid bumped my elbow while i was pouring. I put to much it but it only was at the very top of the sight glass. I took it for a ride and smoke started pouring out of my exhaust my bike died, started a couple times and than would only click. Ive checked the frp took the spark plugs out and blew the oil out of the cylinders and put new spark plugs in. But it still will only just click any ideas would be greatly appreciated

If its clicking means the battery is dead, or you blew a fuse. right by the battery there should be a fuse in the starter relay (depending on the year and make of your bike) You could have blown that fuse, or fried the relay from cranking it so much. But chances are you just killed the battery, charge it for a little bit and try again.

i cant see that very little extra bit of oil effecting the bike either, there are people that put extra half quarts in their bikes for stunting so it doesnt starve, i cant see a little elbow bump worth of oil causing any damage. Though if u did have oil blow out the cylinders, could have also fowled your plugs.

Bit more oil, especially a bump of elbow won't hurt anything...IMO

Smoke? Are you sure it's not the oil spill from elbow bump, got oil on the header pipe burning, when pipe gets got....

Recharge battery and try again....

Or should I say when you remove the oil filter, oil drip onto exhaust header...then when bike warm up, it burns the oil...

Yeah I always put an extra elbow bump of oil in just to keep from running low in case I forget to check before getting close to the next oil change. That is not what happened. The smoke is probably from a little that you spilled on the pipes when changing the filter. Try recharging the battery to a full charge then go for a ride.
