Default RE: motorcycle stand

Can I put swingarm sliders on my F2? The reason I ask is b/c I want to get these stands:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motor...spagenameZWDVW

,and I would assume the rear is more stable on the spools (sliders). These stands do look like a great deal, I would just rather the front attach to the steering stem, but how often am I going to remove the forks anyway... Has anyone found these style front stands to be unstable?

Like I said before I use them on my 929 which has a unique swing arm where one side of the swing arm is higher than the other. These are fully adjustable for spool or pad use. You use have to flip them around, simple. I wouldn't recomend attempting to put spools on your bike just so that you don't compromise the strength of your swingarm.

The f2 doesn't have provisions for spools. Look through the sellers inventory and in his store as there are a lot of stands he sells. I would also call or e-mail and see if he would sell you a set of what you need. I did that with the front stand I bought. (called seller)

Just make sure the wheel is somewhat warm when you put the rim tape on or it won't stick properly and you'll wind up re-doing it.

I have the front stem stand from pit bull; the bike is already stable when you have it on the rear, so when put up with the front stand it’s like a rock. Friends sit on it all the time when it is up on the stands no problem what so ever.
