That's correct, swingarm style. The f3's are too old to have the spools, though it would be nice if they did.

you are welcome good sir. By the way I just purchased a set of stands myself this week, some generic brand off of ebay. I havent had a chance to assemble and try them out yet but they seem pretty sturdy, and only cost about $90 shipped for front and rear. If you want I will be using them this weekend and let you know how they work.

UPDATE: So I had a chance to unpackage/assemble those stands I mentioned I bought in the previous post, and give them a try on my bike. Overall pretty impressed. They came well packaged, and to assemble them all you need is to insert and tighten down four bolts. all of the holes lined up and they went together without a hitch. worked perfect on my bike using the swingarm adapters (it also comes with attachments for spools). Plain jane black paint but they seem pretty sturdy and they do the job with no flexing that I noticed. And for $91 shipped for both, I'm definitely satisfied and would recommend them. Hope this helps.

hey joe I just ordered mine based on your review and everyone's input. Can't wait to do some chain cleaning =P

BTW Joe sir:
How did you keep your bike running so long?! 45k miles wow! How did you make it last that long? I want to hit 52k! What is the most important thing I have to do to keep my baby going on and on?

nice let me know what you think of them when you get them. As for the high miles, well I can't take all of the credit for that. I got the bike with 38k on it about a year ago, and actually I need to update my signature because its now over 50k haha. But honestly Honda's seem to run forever as long as you don't beat on them unnecessarily. All I've done engine wise since I've had it is new spark plugs, replaced the Regulator/Rectifier with a gsxr unit (A common problem with these bikes as I'm guessing you already know), and changed the oil. I'm sure it could use a valve adjustment, and I plan to adjust the cam chain soon, but honestly its been really trusty once I sorted out the electrical issues. Saturday I'll be attempted to change the rear tire myself, so we'll see how that goes.
