Default Motorcycle Jack

I've read where almost everyone has the front/rear stands but will a motorcycle jack work on an '06 F4i?

I have a jack that I use with my other bikes, but not sure where/how it would fit on this one.

I haven't tried it yet, but was just wandering if anyone else has. Is there a good place to put the jack where it won't hurt anything?

that's a lot of weight to put on the headers. i'd just get the stands.

Forget the pressure on the headers... it's like trying to balancing a triangle upside down.

You will find alot of different brands out there, but PITBULL is the best and I would reccomend them to anyone...I have my bike on it and I can slide it all around the garage without fear of it falling

yea pitbull...and skip the front stands, go with the triple...or else you'll be buying a triple in the future.
i put my bike on my handy stands...they work well enough but i don't confidence to be moving them around the garage.
i also have the handy triple stand...now that is just scary but i still use it! hahahah

It's always better to go with what the bike was originally meant to stand on (stands) but recently, a plate was introduced that attaches to the top of a car/motocycle jack that balances it with no problem. I can't remeber what company or website I was on when I saw it though.
