Default michilin pilot power

I was wondering if any of you guys had tried out the new michilin pilot power tires. They are supposed to be awesome, a new tire compound that requires less warm up time without sacraficing ware. I was thinking about buying them and was looking for some feedback. Thanks

I've got a fresh set on (well, about a month or so old) and I swear by them! Here's what I posted on the SoCalSportbikes web concerning these tires:

Michellin Pilot Power

Got a new set of Michellins about two weeks ago, never used those types before but heard good things about 'em. Got a chance to test them out when I was hurrying to catch a light and did an unintentional knee drag around the corner (LaBrea & Rodeo Road). I thought for sure I was going to wipe out, and worse yet, have it captured on the traffic camera, BUT......just laid the bike into a sharp left and my knee touched cement. Scared myself and got a few cager horn honks when I pulled out of it. Had to pull over and check my underwear, but otherwise, I'm now a poster girl for Michellin's stickiness

Love them tires!!!!!!

Nah, just damn lucky! I really think the bike took over and guided itself through the turn...I was just along for the ride, 'cuz all I could see was an early lunch of pavement =( I'm used to pulling turns, but somehow, as I was going into it, it just didn't feel right. I can only say the tires played a big part on my hairpin escape
