making my 1998 CBR (f3) look like an f4i
i just purchased a 1998 CBR 600 and i want to find out how difficult and perhaps how coslty it would be to do the following:
* add a 600rr fiberglass tail
*F4i lower fairings, upper fairing, and gauges
I saw a bike on here awhile back that was actually much older , like a 1991, but the owner had made some pretty cool modifications to it. this is my first bike so any help would be appreciated.

I think swapping F4i fairings onto an F3 is kind of pointless. Except for the sweetness of you swapped F4i parts to an F3. I'd do it for funsies but don't believe it's really worth it unless you are mechanically inclined.
I think it would be intresting to attempt to swap Ducati fairings onto your Inline 4 bike. Just for hte hell of it of course

I have always been told anything can be done as long as you have a torch n a welder. And in the case of sportbikes, zip ties.
I wouldnt do unless you need new fairings. for all the fairings you need, you're looking at $400 - $800 not counting materials to fab new mounting points.
I have a 1st gen 600RR tail if ya decide to do it tho lol

Probably as much as it would cost to buy an F4i. None of the peices would fit.

all- thanx for the feedback please keep it coming. the main thing i want to change is the tail. on the bike that i mentioned b4..the one i saw on here that kinda gave me the idea in the 1st place - it had 600 RR tail with a sv650 tail light. thats the look im going for i dont like the long seat.

I would hold off on any major mods if its your first bike, just incase it gets dropped, even a little tip in a driveway could make alot of hard work shot to sh**
