Default Making the best of it all

Most of y'all know my bike got knocked over and since most of the damage was cosmetic I didn't fix anything & instead invested in some good gear.

I bought an a* SMK Jacket & a dainese back protector. Also planning on getting vortex frame sliders & a t-rex rear stand. Here's a couple of pics.
(The jacket is in blue & my bike is yellow, tell me if it's outright pathetic)

Gear looks good. Better to let your bike have a few scratches than not have any skin.

I hate a dented car but love a scratched up bike. Something about a bike that has been down and not fixed screams maniac to me. A clean bike just looks antisceptic, . Good for U, get some stickers and don't worry about the plastics.

only squids care to color match their gear to their bikes.

Squids don't wear gear.

I like the new gear but tell me, what's gonna protect your ankles? Might want to invest in some boots...

I have a pair of shift riding boots, I'd just pulled my bike out for a quick photo shoot, I wasn't going riding, thanks for the concern [sm=smiley32.gif]

I found the jacket to be a near perfect fit, comfortable, reasonable protectors & within the price range I was willing to spend. They just had 2 colors - black & blue - plus the 3rd option available in red was on back order till november. I could've bought black but thought that won't get me noticed on the street - it's all about grabbing attention, right .

Anyways, my wife thinks that the color's kinda weird, so I'll take her with me later this week & if we can't agree on one together, I'll keep the blue, I really like the jacket.
