Question Looking for advice on Chain and Sprocket stuff

Hi all. I've only got 1k into my 93 CBR600F2 and about $200 in parts so far. I can't decide if I am going to keep it or sell it. So far I love it and I think it's worth dumping into it. I need to replace the chain and sprockets. I found an affordable one but a guy at a local store laughed when I told him the price. Here is a link for what I am looking at:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/30469457639...del%3ACBR600F2

I would love to get this done affordably but don't want it to cost me a nasty crash or worse. Thoughts? Also... I was considering watching videos and attempting to do it myself but found a local guy who said he would do it for me for $80. Is that worth having someone else mess with it?

Thanks for reading.

Personally I wouldn’t, I’d go for a manufacturer like DID with a known track record.

At the very least I’d want to see oil seals within the links to keep the road muck out.

Look at the description - "Chain type - without o-ring".

That's why it's cheap - it's a beefy bicycle chain. It's going to last a month as long as you soak it in grease before every ride, and every few miles along the road.
