Default Chain and sprockets

I'm in need of a new chain and sprockets. the websites i'm familiar with aren't giving me many option so if anyone knows of some good places to shop for them please let me know. I need new front sprocket (stock) rear sprocket (48 teeth) and a good chain. keep in mind my pockets aren't very deep. a chain/sprocket combo kit seems good but i can't find one where i can get a 48 rear. I'll be sticking with 525 also. Basically i know what i need i just could use some advice on where to get it. however, any advise would be appreciated.

kneedraggers.com has the RK kits for a good price and it comes with everything you need including the correct length chain.

I think of Dane Cook everytime I see your avatar... Good stuff.

You can try http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...cket-Kits.aspx

Or www.motosport.com

the quick acceleration kit doesn't tell you the gearing and usually its -1 in the front which i don't want. i just want 16/48 and a chain. it's looking more like i'm gonna have to buy everthing individually.

i would just drop one in the front before i would buy everything individually
is it really that important to be stock in the front?
its not gonna make a huge difference

Well im pretty happy with my 16/48 (stock front, +2 rear). and i would like to keep my speedo within a somewhat usable range, which it is now. However i might just go back to stock and get the RK kit. Does the RK kit come with rivet style chain? and what will i need, i figure i can just grind off the old chain with a dremel so all i need is a rivet press?

And why the hell can't i find a non-gold chain... Gold just doesn't go with my bike and its more expensive anyway. It's so hard to find them in regular old silver...
