Default 1988 Hurricane | Need advice

Hi Everyone - I bought a 1988 CBR 1000 that had been sitting in a garage for 21 years. After cleaning all the molasses out of the fuel system and cleaning the carbs, I got it running.

It is making a pretty loud clicking noise. I checked the timing and the timing chain tension and did a valve adjustment but the ticking hasn't changed.

Compression is low and I think the rings are probably stuck/frozen. If i add oil to the cylinder the compression comes up to normal range.

I'm hoping you guys can listen to the attached video and give me an idea of what to attack next. Could it be the chain tensioner?

Oil was clean and no sparkles so I don't think its bearings.

Bike has 18,000 miles

Thanks in advance!
