Default Lighting problem

Hey everyone, I have a 93 F2. A few days ago I was riding home at night and all of a sudden the lights and gauge get really bright for about 1 minute and then it went back to how it was before. My question is, is this the R/R or is it something else? Thanks

The R/R sounds like a mighty good place to start. Possibly a voltage spike that should have been smoothed (regulated) by the R/R. It didn't pop any fuses when it got really bright? Wierd...

I can't think of any other logical explanation. It would have to be downstream from the R/R, otherwise the R/R would mask the issue.

No, It didn't pop any fuses. I still ride it and it does it sometimes. I have a new gsxr r/r I am going to put on it this weekend. I will let you know if this fixes it.
