Default Leaking Gasoline....

I have a 2006 CBR 1000RR, and before i go taking it all apart i figured id ask if anyone else has this problem it's leaking gas i went to take it out the other day and there was a pretty big puddle of gas all around the side stand iam thinking the fuel pump gasket went bad but iam not sure yet its a brand new bike ive only had it for about 6 months tops if any one has had this problem any ideas would help out thanks.

doesn't the gas cap over flow drain hose route to the ground right there? pretty sure it does.

Brand new, Warrantee? Didn't Honda have that free year of towing or something that came with it. I'd disconnect the battery and seek professional help.

How much gas did you put in her. Like Knightslugger said, the overflow drain line is right there.

I would go for the warrantee. Sounds like it would be an easy fix but if you mess with it... fix isn't warranteed and the money would come out of your pocket.
