Default L.e.d blinkers

I installed L.e.d.'s into my passenger pegs and everything works fine cept when i use my right blinker my left ones also light up slightly but not as bright as the right. Same thing with signaling to the left, the right ones light up slightly. They are each wired to the correct signal wire and grounded at the same spot. Does anyone know why it would cause the opposite blinker to light up alittle?

The only thing i can think of is that somehow the opposing blinker is getting some power to it when the blinker you want turns on. Are you sure none of the wires touch (the powered ones?) When you say grounded at the same spot do you mean both wires ground into one spot or both wires go into 1 ground wire?

I put 3 leds in each side so i twiested all 3 from each side together and then twisted those 2 groups together and then grounded it at the same spot. None of the positives are touching. Im sure of that. Another question i was wondering is when i use my brakes with my integrated taillight both of my flasher bulds light up. Is this common with an integrated signal?

I may be wrong, but to me it sounds like you have then crooked. probably grounded to a power wire and powered the grounds. because LED's are funny when wired, they only require a little current to run, so the smallest mis-step with the connections can throw it off.

I've seen that happen when a resistor was used to slow the blink rate. If you want to slow the blink rate you gotta use 2 resistors ... one for each side.

If it's not that then I suspect you have some voltage creeping back through the common ground. Is there a reason you didn't wire them to the original grounds or did it share a ground wire when stock?

On the taillight it depends on what model you have ... some allow you to keep brakes seperate from turn signals others light up the signal lights when braking but if you use the signal it will flash.

I didn't install any resistors I just switched out the relay to slow the blink rates.

Try to use 2 separate grounds. You could have a ground loop.
