so heres the story: i have LED turn signals on '01 f4i and jsut recently the left rear signal stopped working, usually when the front brake is pressed both rear blinkers stay lit and obviously when i want to turn it flashes. since neither happens anymore i think its the signal itself and plus i talked to a guy at a bike shop and he said thats usually the problem as well. i dont want to pay some shop a lot of money to troubleshoot and replace it when i think i might be able to do it myself. so anyway i was wondering if anyone here knows where i can get a new one and if so are they hard to replace? any help at all would be appreciated and i apologize in advance for the pic quality becuase i took them with my phone.

 

If the signals worked when you first installed them I would start with all the connections and any splices you made. From there I would examine any signs of chaffing in any wiring where it contacts any thing remotly sharp. Tracking will tell alot. Good luck.

 

I believe it's the blinker itself. I just recently changed mine and it's a quick and easy thing to do. It prolly takes you about 15 mins especially it's in the rear cause you dont have to open the lower cowl. About the blinker, check ebay they got those really cheap, you can get a pair of chrome ones for $15. Here is the link

thanks for the post funnyguy but the problem with the link you gave me and all the other searches ive done in ebay is that they are bulb turn signals and i need led's!
