so i just got my used speedo in the mail for my f4i and i went out and hooked it up. All that happend was the neutral light lit up. my battery is dead so im jumping it off my jeep. when i have the jumper cables conntected i see a FI light trhat comes on in red adn then when i take them off it goes away and hte nuetral light stays on throughout. I cant get the bike to fire up either. it was running fine jsut the other day when i went out to start it. anyone got any ideas? im going to buy a new battery as soon as i can but i need to know wehter or not i need to send this used speedo back in time.

 

Is that the only speedo you have? When it was running a couple weeks ago what all have you changed since then?

 

Is the fuel pump priming? Is the speedo running its startup diagnostics?

 

i finally got the fuel pump to prime. but the speedo is still not runing the diagnostics. im going to send it back. Im not really sure how i got the fuel pump to start priming again but i was simply checking my electrical switches and relays and then all of a sudden it was priming again.
