So is welding or replacement still the best options? I'm diggin up the dead with the same situation...minus dropping my bike over and over

Maybe an ugly solution like a metal sleeve and some epoxy.

Where in my Clymer manual does it explain to break down my mirrors...? Not remove them from the bike...take them apart themselves...

you could put pig spotters on but they are expensive.. however they are tight to the bike and you won't have to keep buying them.
I just dropped mine and a mirror snapped off.. so i'm gettin a new set.. maybe we can get a deal haha.

How about investing in something with four wheels? That'll be cheaper than hospital or a funeral bill!!!!!I know it takes some time to learn but riding isn't for everyone. Do you at least wear protective gear?
