How to reattach helmet vents
My friend kinda slammed my helmet on someone's car when he was drunk... so he's buying me a new one tomorrow.
All that happened was that the vent on the back side of the helmet came off. It's basically attached with some kinda adhesive along the outer edges (see pics) but there's also some kinda really hard glue in the pegs that go into the holes. I know the helmet's probably not in good protecting condition anymore because the inner shell probably shattered already, but it wouldn't hurt to fix the vent and keep it as a back-up. or maybe even sell super cheap.
Any advice would be helpful. I'm thinking about supergluing it, but I'm not sure how good the superglue will hold on clearcoat.

Your right about the helmet probably being Rat $**T, and I would not even think about passing it on. U can use a hot glue gun to fix it , which is probably wot they used originally. by don't bother, chuck it in the bin, if your buying the same type of helmet to replace it, scab the visor and liner fer spares.
