So I just picked up a nice Arai helmet today, its a few years old but should be good for my first helmet until the new RX7 haga or hayden laguna's go on sale .

BUT, a rubber piece on the bottom has come off.

Also the visor was not adjusted properly when i bought it and would have howled like crazy, perhaps why the owner sold it to me for only $140... 10 mins later and voila, perfect!

Arai is fixing that for free. There is a recall. They call it the lower trim strip. Apparently the manufacturer of the trim strips used the incorrect type of plastic and no matter what kind of glue you use it will come off again eventually. The type of plastic contained too much oil in it and that is the reason it does not stick. You have to send your lid in, and they will put a new trim strip on. I sent mine in and they fixed it right. If you try to glue it yourself they wont fix it.
