Just the other day i went to start my bike (f2) and it started up fine. Now, today i got my speed sensor from a 97 900rr through the mail so i went to hook itup to my f4i gauge and there are only three wires, pink, green, and black....i hooked the pink w/the pink/white/or green, which was the speedo wire, then green to green, and black to black/brown wire. tried to start but wont start, it cranks over and all, but wont start....then i thought maybe there is something wrong, so i unhooked the wires, and just tired to start without the speedo and it still wont start, keeps cranking but wont start and then battery starts to die on me...so i hopped in my car and jump start it and still does the same thing....do u think i flooded the carbs or somthing.....? when i start it sometimes it seems like it wants to turn over, but it just back fires...i get a couple of back fires, then i stop....and i look and see some white smoke coming from my exhaust....i think i flooded it...so should i just let it sit for a while before i start it again....Do u think i may need a new battery....??? ne help would be appreciated...
