Default cranks but wont start cold

here is the scoop ... ive been threw the carbs, and ive had a pro go threw the carbs, ive put new plugs/wires in it, and it still dont like starting cold !!! what gives ? ive got good fuel. when it starts and warms up a little it runs good !!! it will idle warm. it revs great warm. it just wont start cold. ive even tried diffrent choke settings and still no go ! ive been searching for a wile now and come up with nothing ! could the coil wires(primary side, from ignition module to coils) be crossed ? i know each coil sparks 2 cylinders, could someone have switched em ? any help is apricated ... thanks !
