HELP after k & N filter install
My dealer charges $30 per half hour. That;s not too bad. I'm sure I'll pay a lot to get it fixed, but I got impatient with myself for not being able to fix it. I was also frustrated that I don't know a lot about bikes yet.
How many pepole here actually noticed a huge difference by putting in a K&N? My personal oppinion is they are too much of a pain in the *** to clean and re oil.

i have heard the myth also..i dont use any sysnthics in anything.. regular 10w30 mobil5000 in my taurus and the recommened honda oil for the bike. i cant really tell you if i notice a difference with the k&n filter. cause i put on my full system yoshi and powercommander and filter at the same time. i did notice the bike is faster..seems to have better torque with the full system. but i cant say..when i go to clean the filter im gunna put the old one in..only had abot 1000 miles on it..and drive it around and see.
I have read a lot of people claiming that the 929 makes about 2-3HP more with the stock filter... But I did the exact same thing you did - I got the Micron serpent full system, K&N, and PCIII all at the same time. All I know is that this bike will power up in three gears and I don't care about 2-3HP anymore. DO I really need a faster bike?!? Oh, and let me know if you think it is faster with the stock - OF COURSE I'll put it back in... heh heh heh
