Exclamation Help on adjusting valves/springs on '88 Hurricane

Hey,

we need some help on adjusting the valves and springs on an '88 Hurricane 1000. Our question is when doing the adustments on the valves to get correct spacing measurements, cylinder one and four were on top dead, but 2 and 3 were not. Do we need to adjust 2 and 3 to their own top dead to get correct valve measurements or can we leave it at the top dead on cyl 1 and 4?

I think you have to roll it over to TDC, i know ive seen it done before on a race car a friend use to race. Hes was constantly checking them.
