Default Headlight problems......still

Well i bought the new switch, wiring harness and bulb and it still wont come on. I know the bulb is good cause i ran it straight to the battery and it lit up. Still havent got me a multi-meter....wensday is the day lol. So i cant really trouble shoot it right now, my test light is not wrking either

I looked at the wiring diagram and the only things wired to the headlight are the fuse box the switch and the connector that hooks into the gauges.

The headlights and turn signals share a ground wire......(correct ?) So it wouldnt be my ground. I put new fuses in so it shouldnt be those, what else should i be looking for ??

FIXED ____ Little solder on the stop-start switch fixed it...

Thinking it could be a pinched wire or a loose connection at on of the headlight pins. I see a post where the right handle bar switch has something to do with the headlight and he had to re-solder a contact ?? Would this be the case on an f4 as well.

Not sure exactly what switch you are reffering too. But I believe the starter has a shut off to the headlights. When you start your bike, it kills power to the headlights until the bike starts. I have no idea of it could be related or not.

If Im not mistaken, I think there is a relay for the headlights too. But Im not too sure about it.

I know, not much solid info, but maybe somethings to look into.

The bl/w wire runs to the start-stop switch, and i dindt see a relay in the wiring diagram.

Refering to this post:
