Default harness connector question

I'm looking at the sub harness for the headlights and there's one "prong" (leads from a green wire) that looks discolored compared to the others. Is this indicating that the connection is bad? [/align]

Hmmm, kind of hard to tell without really seeing what type of discoloration that you're talking about. Perhaps you can take a snap shot of it and post it up?

You can test the connection if you have a multimeter, or even just a test light. Check continuity, possible voltage drop while simulating any normal movement that the harness might go throughduring normal operation. I'd also check to make sure that those progs dont moveon each end of the harness...maybe your green lead is loose and is vibrating against the other end of the harness?

hmm, okay. I don't have a good enough camera with me to take the pic so that it will be clear, but, i think im gonna go ahead and get a sub harness and see if it fixes it. I mean, the connection on the pin looks corroted and a little purple. I will just have to hope for the best.

what if i jumped the connector? Can i do that? Probably isnt the smartest seeing how it will mess up the main wire harness.
