Default hard landing on forks

just got my 01 F4i about a month ago. i just replaced the fork seals because one was leaking. it all went together right and felt good and smooth while riding but recently when i get on the front brake it feels like it wants to pull slightly to the right and it shudders a little which i think could be the rotor? but why is it pulling to the right?

also the other day i was out riding and clutching up in 1st gear just getting a feel for the power. i have been doing good but the last one i set down kinda hard and the front wheel went up and took out the front fender and cracked my right side fairing. is there anything i should inspect for any other damage then the fairings?

sounds like ur forks werent done right dude, meaning wrong weight or amount. way 2 soft if it bottomed out completely and wacked ur fender, that sucks. take em off and have ur local shop redo them or if u did have a dealer do it take it right back an get it fixed cuz thats there fault. brake chattering might b if ur rotors are grooved to $h1t or pads down, or might jus need the whole brake system flushed with new fluids. bad fluid =bad brakes an improper working master cylinder, inconsistent pressure to the calipers might b the pulling right feeling. hope this helps.

thanks bud,

i did the forks my self. my service manual said to put 8oz of fluid in each. i was confused because when i emptied the right fork there was 12oz in it? im confused why there would be more than what the manual says to add.

i will take them apart and redo them i suppose. does anyone have any input on fluid level or how to stiffen them at all?
